Good for a short stay

The location! Abit quiet at night if a female walking alone but during the day it's fine. Really close to Hongdae but not noisy.

Smaller than expected, for the same price in another area the rooms are double the size. Plumbing wasn't great either

The property is near Hongik. Room is big & comfortable. Cleanliness & breakfast should be improved.

Room has much space and it fits and accurate with their photos and information. The place is nearby Hongik, so it is easy to do shopping till late night.

The property should improve their breakfast and their service. Breakfast should be more variety and has better taste. All they have are only cereal and bread w/ milk. In my opinion, at least they should provide us some egg or ham. Moreover, their staff should be the one who washes the dishes. All the thing their staffs have done so far is only checking-in. Even Check-out we have done ourselves by filling out the form. I'm being disappointed for their services so far and I found out their service being not worth enough what I've paid.

Location and pricing was good

Room had stale cigarette smell even though it was a non smoking establishment. Toilet bowl was spoilt and the wash basin only came out burning hot water.

It’s a pretty decent guesthouse

It was exactly in the right place for me and the staff were really impressive when I checked in. It’s a simple guesthouse that was comfortable and clean enough. It’s not a hotel so please do not come expecting that and you’ll have a great time here. You can easily walk to Hongik University (Hongdae) and that’s an awesome place. Or you can jump on a bus/metro to explore the rest of Seoul.

Your home in Seoul near the young and bustling area of Hongdae.

1. LOCATION! + I like how you have access to both the subway and the bus stations. You can come from the airport or go to the airport easily. + Hongdae Main Street and Hongik University are just walking distance as well. There are various restaurants to choose from, coffee shops, clothing, shops, pubs and clubs. + The area is surrounded with young people since it's a university area so if you're looking for a young vibe and atmosphere, this is the place to be. + There's a 7Eleven store that's less than a minute walk away from the guesthouse where you can buy snacks or important things you'll need in case of any emergency. + If you're a BTS / BT21 fan, there's a LINE friends store nearby. Everything you need is walkable from the guesthouse. 2. The staff can converse in English, so it won't be a problem to make requests or ask help. + If you have any concerns like a late flight, just message them ahead and they'll send you the self-check in details via email. + They can provide you with new towels especially if you want the ones you've used changed 3. There's a common area where all the guests can hang-out, eat and relax. 4. There was simple breakfast available that you can enjoy. But it's only available from 8:00am to 10:00am. 5. There's a heater in the room and the floor is warm. The temperature of the hot water is also fine. You'll enjoy your stay even if you go during the winter / cold season. 6. We booked a family room and there was enough space for everyone and even our luggages. We really had a comfortable and relaxing stay in the guesthouse. Would recommend this for friends especially for those going to Seoul for the first time. For family, I would recommend other accommodations.

1. There was a miscommunication re: cleaning our bedroom since we were staying for 5 nights and they have cleaning scheduled only on certain days. We hung the sign out of the morning of our 3rd day even before their cut-off time but when we got back to the guesthouse, our room still wasn't cleaned. I had to follow-up on this and was told that they didn't see the sign. But it was addressed the following day since the staff was easy to talk to. 2. There's no elevator in the guesthouse. Good thing we were assigned to the room on the 1st floor, so we only had to go up the stairs once. I think the guesthouse has 5 floors in total. It could have been better if the subway station was closer. Although this is not the property's fault and I didn't mind the 8-10minute walk, everything could have been perfect, especially coming home after a long tiring day from all the touring or the nightlife.

Good place to stay! the room had some smell as if it wasn't properly cleaned or the duct pipe nearby broken! besides that, its all good...

What was the highlight of Neo Seoul

It was a great stay. Loving the hostel and its style.

The beds were super comfy. Loved sleeping in there. Also the neighborhood was great. We were really close to the metro and close to the party/bar/shopping area.

The pillows in the beds were a little bit too high for my liking. But in general very comfy.

Ok stay

Good bread for breakfast. Staff waa friendly and accomodating.

I guess thin walls or very noisy guests. It was also noisy outside late in the evening. Commute was lot longer from this location whereever I went- a huge minus. That wasnt the property's fault neccessarily but something to think about when looking at a guuesthouse to stay. I found transportation a lot more convenient and closer staying in myeongdong.

Enough if you're seeking a comfortable environment to sleep in.

Clean and comfortable, no problem to sleep well. If you're just looking for a nice place to rest with not too high price, maybe this place could be an option.

I'm not sure what's wrong with their alarm. There's one night we came back late at around 1-2, and the alarm was going on crazy, so loud and you can still hear it inside the room. My boyfriend called the number left on the door, and the guy was like "ok", and hung up. The stuff there all seem kinda shy and quiet tbh...

Enjoyable.

Clean, good neighbourhood. Hot water works like a charm and you can get information from the staff, they are helpful. You can walk to clubbing areas really easily, if you are a party animal.

1. No full body mirror in the room, essential for the ladies 2. The drainage system in the toilet is not that good 3. Winter - room becomes stuffy cause of the floor heating, opening the windows help.
